堂西長筍別開門，
塹北行椒卻背村。
梅熟許同朱老吃，
鬆高擬對阮生論。

Because of growing bamboo sprouts, I have to open the gate west of
the hut; South of the village but north of the ditch, there is a new line
of pepper plants. When the plums ar ripe, I shall share them with old
Mr.Chu; When these pines grow tall, I shall write Mr.Juan about them.
